Desktop app opens Finder; usual remedies not working

This was resolved through a help chat. I needed to remove menu items from my menu bar until I could see the Dropbox menu icon. I then moved the icon to the right so it's more likely to stay visible.

We appreciate your response on your your resolved this matter.
On Mac OS in particular on newer versions of the OS, if the menu bar has many items then other items would vanish and be hidden.
