Dropbox Backup and Time Machine (Mac OS)

I'm using a Mac and am backing up to an external hard drive with TimeMachine. I would also like to back up my Documents folder to the cloud. Dropbox Backup sounds good – but will Dropbox relocate my ...

Hi Markeee - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

The Dropbox Backup feature creates a copy of your files in Dropbox, but leaves the original files on your computer or external hard drive too so it shouldn't cause any issues to your Time Machine and its backups.
