Dropbox Passwords has disappeared from Safari and Chrome
I installer Dropbox manager on my new M1 Max MacBook Yesterday with no problems.
Today its disappeared iin Saqfari and also the poolbar icon in Crome.
Tried to reinstallering (inscluding reinstalling Dropbox) with no success.
Clicking the button in the desktop app have no effect.
PLEASE HELP! Password manager betons your most important app, and now I'm stuck...
in the end Re-installing OS (repair) (half a day old machine!) solved it

Hey johnshansen, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If you haven't already, can you please restart your computer and check again?
After restarting, if it's still not there, can you also try reinstalling it?
Let me know how it goes. - johnshansen4 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Reporting a problem almost all people have resterted as you suggest - why not go into trying to solve the issue?

I'm also having massive issues - support is literally useless and just tell you to restart machine. All my db passwords apps are asking for approval on another device, which is no help.
It's a horrible password manager to be honest and I'm ditching it if it's this much hassle

Now a couple of days later the Dropbox Password Manager have disappeared in Safari.
Repairing/reinstalling macOS Monterey did not fix it this time.
Have to find another solution as lack of password manager is quite impossible for me.

Hey johnshansen - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please let me know if you see the Passwords extension listed in your browser's extensions?
If not, you can try downloading it anew from this page.

I don't see it in the browser extensions
Redownloaded with no effect. - Clicking the button in the app does nothing.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop johnshansen - much appreciated.
Would it be OK if I send you an email to investigate this internally? - johnshansen4 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Sure!
