Do you know what you are you doing ?????

Hey guys!
Thanks for showing your interest in Dropbox Vault.
To concentrate our efforts on further improving our existing security features and building new capabilities around advanced data protection, weâve made the decision to discontinue Dropbox Vault.
From March 4th Dropbox Vault will no longer be available. If youâre currently using your Vault, that folder will automatically turn into a standard Dropbox folder, that doesnât require a PIN to access. The files in your folder will remain the same.
I hope this clarifies!

I personally think that the real reason is not developer resources but rather sales and marketing. In the end you don't need vault if you use the permissions system but that means need to have a family account or a business account and those both cost money. I read the comment about people accidentally seeing your files but I think that the most common use scenario is a family Dropbox without a family account and then the main user has the vault for his personal files. Now that there is no vault you must either get the family plan or find another service

I see where you are coming from with the family plan but for me other people have access to my phone/ipad/laptop and my laptop only has a single profile so that plan wouldnât mean theyâd get more money out of me which Iâm sure is their goal - unfortunately looking at the many posts on this topic they are going to get a lot less money
