folders can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents.

I keep on getting this message whenever I try to access the folders desktop, downloads, documents. How do we fix this ???

The folder “Desktop” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents.

    Hey driceman1086, sorry to hear you're having issues with this

    Could you send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?

    Also, what is the desktop app's version and status as shown in your menu bar/system tray?

    Can you access those folders normally from your backups page

    Keep me posted!

    Hello, you can add the right with the terminal on macOS :

    My folder Desktop can be found in ~/Dropbox/Mac/Desktop

    To add the rights :
    $ cd ~/Dropbox/Mac

    $ chmod +x Desktop
