Hi, can you PLEASE revert that new Screenshot "feature" you added in MacOS. Previously, it was possible to simply drag and drop a Screenshot into Finder or Photos right after it was taken. Now, your ...

A workaround seeing as Dropbox have gone quiet on this.
* Shift-Command-5 to bring up the Mac screenshots app
* either select or deselect "Show Floating Thumbnail" under "Options"
* in Finder, navigate to ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.screencapture.plist
* right-click on the plist file, Get Info, checkbox "locked"
Now Dropbox can't overwrite your setting.
This also means you can't overwrite it either, you'll need to unlock the file first, so make a note for future you to remind you that you've done this. The plist file is also where the location of your screenshots is saved.
RyanFromDropbox, please let us know here when Dropbox has fixed this for real so we can safely unlock our plist file again, thanks.

& a bit of additional info if it helps the Dropbox team - while other options have a True/False key in the preference list file, show-thumbnail is only written to the file when it is False ie. deselected:
<key>show-thumbnail</key><false/>
When True ie. selected, the show-thumbnail key does not appear in the file.
