The Dropbox overlay icons are missing from our company-managed devices.
Hi,
I am managing a few computers with Microsoft Intune.
When I install Dropbox on managed computers, I always check that everything has synced and that it is on the latest stable Dropbox version...

Ok, so I think I solved the problem.
In Intune you can set Device Restirctions under "Devices -> Windows configuration -> Device restrictions".
In there i hade some App store restrictions, removed the few restrictions i had but kept "Install apps with elevated privileges".
Now the Overlay icons appear as they should! 🎉Screenshot:

12 months agoThanks for these screenshots! Besides the overlay icons that are currently missing, are you also missing the Dropbox context menu options, when right-clicking on the Dropbox files/folders?
OneDrive was disabled at the time you took those screenshots, correct?

Correct, the Dropbox context menu is also missing. (i have to go to "Show more options")
Onedrive is not disabled on the computer i took the screenshots.
But i have tested with and without Onedrive disabled and it dose not seem to matter I am afraid.
