Unable to sign in to complete installation on the desktop app

I am trying to install Dropbox  and the process gets stuck where the screen says:

"Leave this screen open. A sign in prompt will appear."

I never get a sign in prompt. The message just stays there.

How can I get past this?

Could you try reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, using this link?

Hi @ Colinwhipple, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

What device and OS are you currently running?

This will help me to assist further!

I am running Windows 10 on an HP Envy 23-027c.

The system is not eligible to upgrade to Windows 11.

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

Not that I am aware of.

I was able to install Dropbox on a Windows 11 Laptop connected to the Internet through the same Powerline connection. They are both connected to the Powerline adapter through the same switch.
