Dropbox Integration with Zoom deprecated.
I discovered after the fact that Dropbox has decided to end its integration with Zoom. Apparently this ended on 5th February 2024. My last Zoom meeting 8 February 2024 did not upload to Dropbox automatically as usual which led me to investigate with both Zoom and Dropbox. I was just informed of the decision on Dropbox Chat. Apparently, I was supposed to have received an email but I can't find one and don't delete such things.
I was advised to report the issue/complaint here. The solution offered was download and Re-upload to Dropbox which I know will work (because I used to do that years ago) but when I have multiple Zoom Sessions in one Day and there isn't time between meetings to do this this is a lot of extra work for something that prior to this change was automatic. I wonder how many others are affected by this and are just as mystified as I am? I may have to consider other options to Dropbox though need to investigate these. Thanks.

Thank you for posting this, Philip. I use this integration ALL THE TIME and didn't receive any email about it ending. I was researching why my Zoom-Dropbox integration suddenly stopped and came across your post. Thank you. Now I know. It's a lot of work to manually upload the recordings of my Zoom calls, so I'll probably look into Zapier. Or upload to something besides Dropbox. Darn!

Well, that explains why it wasn’t happening for me, either. Not a helpful decision by dropbox as far as I’m concerned.

I can imagine yw40 I spent quite some time on it myself and it was Zoom I approached first and it is clear now the support agent did not know. Dropbox chat agent did not know either and had to take a few minutes out to come back with the mystifying answer!

i agree this is utterly outrageous
no reason for the stopping, and worse no advance notice
wasted hours trying to fix the problem untill dropbox (chat) admitted to the secret

marosner it's a decision taken by Dropbox not Zoom. They were unaware of it and it's still showing on their Website as a featured integration.

This just happened to me too! There wasn't any heads up and is a key part of our organization's current workflow.

Here is a 404 for the Zoom page in the Dropbox Apps Marketplace (i.e., it doesn't exist anymore):

Screenshots from the Zoom Website and from my Dropbox Account. Zoom Website shows Dropbox still as a featured Integration. My Dropbox Account shows Zoom is connected but it isn't working.

Thanks bblu2095 I was going to check whether there was still evidence of it on Dropbox website, it is still there on the Zoom site I have just taken a screenshot of it. Take note Jay please. The communication and management of this decision is looking very poor.
