Excel crashes when opening a file from Dropbox
Hello. This just started occurring yesterday for one of my machines. I have files stored on Dropbox sync'd through filer explorer. When I open the file from dropbox (file explorer), excel quits responding. When I open the same file from my Desktop, Excel works as normal. Dropbox is listed as a connected service in Excel and there have been no issues before yesterday. I have updated office and performed a repair without luck. Any thoughts?
Can you add support for streaming audio for Sonos speakers?
tens of thousands of households use Sonos speakers and many of them have their own music rather than paying for streaming music or sometimes have music that you can’t find on streaming services. The only way to make that available on a Sonos system is to have a network attached storage and a directory full of music. Many users keep it in dropbox or another cloud service but then have to synchronise it to a network attached storage device or leave a computer on so that Sonos speakers can access it all the time. If there was a Sonos dropbox service that allowed the speakers to access music live from your Dropbox folder of music, that would be an incredible facility and I know of a large number of users that would use it. I for one would no longer need to keep a network attached storage powered on all the time and I would concentrate more on getting much more of my own custom music rather than relying on the music of streaming services, which will mean I will have more requirements for buying storage space. I’m sure there are technical challenges with providing a streaming audio service from dropbox, including making it easy to index the music that is there but I think it is well worth doing and this is not a new science, so I’m sure there is a lot of skill there that can make it happen very quicklyTime Machine cannot back up because some Dropbox files have not finished syncing
I am running Dropbox on a MacBook Air M2 running Sequoia 15.5. When I opened up the Mac this morning, it prompted me to update the Dropbox app - which I did. I now find that Time Machine will not backup with the message Time Machine cannot back up because some Dropbox files have not finished syncing. I've tried quitting Dropbox, taking it out of the login items and restarting, but it makes no difference. Before I just delete Dropbox (I only use it for a small number of files shared with others), is there anything I can try?
Getting an error backing up my Dropbox files through RCLONE
HI all, am trying to make a backup of the dropbox, to another cloud also, while doing so, i succeeded with all the other clouds to connect with the rclone, only i faced problem with the Dropbox !! when i ask " YES open the browser for Authintication ... it always redirect to : Invalid redirect_uri. i have tried many ways, asked all the AI, and tried all possibilities ... even did it manual auth. nothing worked so far !! anyone can help "Thanks in Advance for all"
Select the destination folder for DaVinci Resolve Dropbox export integration
Unfortunately, resolve only lets me set the destination folder in dropbox if I’ve got the dropbox folder structure installed on the computer. If I have that folder structure installed, then the integration isn’t doing anything for me anymore, as anything that lands in that dropbox folder will be automatically uploaded. Without the dropbox integration, I can export directly into my dropbox folder structure and it will upload. It would be great if dropbox added the ability to choose which folder the integration goes to as dumping files in the home folder of the dropbox user isn’t very helpful. Is there any way to add an individual watch or upload folder without adding my entire dropbox folder to the computer?
