Third Party Integrations
1254 TopicsMy folder automation doesn't work for new files, as they're not being moved.
I have an integration between Jotform and Dropbox. The file is a pdf. I have an automation on the folder to move the file based on keyword. The automation worked just fine on existing files when I added the automation. Since then no new files have moved. Hello! Whenever I try to attach a file saved in Dropbox from an app (for instance, WhatsApp message, or Mail app) in my iPhone (iOS 18.1), the app says my Dropbox is empty, although it is fully synced in my phone. Interestingly, from the Messages app I'm able to attach a file and if I open the Dropbox app and select to export a file to WhatsApp or Mail, it works. I've tried disabling and enabling Dropbox from the Browse option, clearing history and website data and restarting the phone, and nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thank you!116Views0likes13CommentsI have a problem accessing audio files using Transcribe+ on iOS
I used to have no problem accessing audio files saved to my Dropbox through Transcribe+ iOS app. However, lately when I try to view files I see an (!) icon next to the Dropbox icon in Edit bar, and files in the window are greyed out or show download prompts. Can anyone advise?27Views0likes10CommentsAre there any possibilities for reclaim.ai integration?
I am just wondering about possibilities for integration with the reclaim.ai calendaring service that Dropbox acquired a little bit ago. I have kinda poked around on both sites, looking for any sort of integration or plans for steps forward - and so far, nothing found. I can think of a few things, already - I'm sure you guys can too. I'd love a bit of a discount on reclaim.ai services as part of being a dropbox customer - either reduce the rate for the plans, or include some of the features in what we can access with our Dropbox credentials. I think there are a lot of possibilities for making it all work together as part of a unified/unifying product offering... best, --elijah30Views0likes1CommentHow can I transfer everything from OneDrive to Dropbox?
Hi everyone, I've been searching and searching a way to transfer all my cloud from Onedrive to Dropbox for a long while now, but I can't find a way to do it other than downloading 1,5TB of data from Onedrive and uploading it to Dropbox manually. Can you please advise me an easier way? I want to get rid of Onedrive entirely and close my account. The weird thing is, In Onedrive, there is an option in my storage page which asks me if I want to transfer anything from Dropbox as well as some other cloud services. It's just one click and takes me to my Dropbox very easily to select what to import from Dropbox, but not visa versa; it doesn't allow me to transfer anything from Onedrive to Dropbox. If one-way integration is possible for Onedrive, why can't I find anything to do it on Dropbox? Thanks a lot for responses in advance.80Views0likes4CommentsSmallpdf app is connected to Dropbox, but I can't open files through it.
A bit of assistance please...I've not found answers in help files and I'm at a stopping point. Issue: Smallpdf is not found in Dropbox menu after connecting. Background: The instructions state, "Open files w/smallpdf by selecting it from the Open Menu in Dropbox". Smallpdf does not display within the menu of Dropbox. >>Is there another step that needs to be done or something overlooked? Does anyone suggest any third party apps to help with duplicate files? I've got a MacBookPro..going from Dropbox Business to Dropbox Essentials and I don't want duplicate files. So going thru thousands of files individually is not going to happen. Thanks26Views0likes1CommentList all files recursively inside a shared folder using the dropbox node sdk

Feedback appreciated!
Hi everyone, My name is Emily, a Product Manager on the Dropbox Mobile app team and I am here because I wanted to reach out to the community to learn about how you access your Dropbox content outside the Dropbox app. We are planning to make some improvements to the way Dropbox integrates with other apps and want to hear your feedback. Here are a few questions to get the conversation started: What apps do you use to access your Dropbox content (outside of Dropbox)? What types of devices do you use them on? (iOS, Android, tablet, etc) How often do you use these apps? (daily, weekly, monthly) What works about this set up? What doesn’t? Is there anything you‘d like to see improved from the Dropbox side? We understand that everyone's experience may differ, so we welcome all types of feedback, positive or negative. We're committed to continuously improving our product so your feedback will help us make it better. Thank you in advance for your time and input. We're excited to hear what you have to say! Thanks, Emily, Mobile team531Views0likes4Comments
