Integration with Salesforce. How to get a link and store it in a custom field?

i have perform an integration with salesforce using their appexhange app. My questions is how i can fetch the link of an uploaded file and stored it in a custom field

when i upload a file in dropbox may i know where it is stored in salesforce?

    Hi there, bhavya949.

     

    To find your files in Salesforce, you should sign in to the Salesforce website and navigate to the Dropbox widget in the record you're interested in.

     

    There, you should be able to locate your files.
