    "If you have a Dropbox Basic, Plus, or Family account, you will not need a Microsoft account or Office license to edit your files."

    I have a Family account, so I see that I'll be using MS Word online version for free. Thank you for your response!

Could you please clarify if the migration has already taken place or not?

It has taken place. We cannot open word docs in google docs in the dropbox interface. My understanding (from the title of this thread) is that it happened March 1st?

    Sorry for jumping in, ibutter.  You mentioned previously that you never received an email about this update.

     

    You may have tried this already, but did you also check your spam folder?

      I have not been able to find any. What was the subject of the email?

       

      Regardless, this is a regression introducing significant inconvenience and would appreciate the feature being reinstated.
