Thanks for the follow-up. I did not seem to have a way to access the link from my new computer, and so I concluded that my new Dell that I purchased almost a year ago from Costco did not have that offer as part of my purchase package.
Dell was no help at all and by the time I talked to people off shore with heavy accents and being transferred around, I just gave up.
I (sadly) went ahead and bought the 2gig upgrade from Dropbox.
Thanks.

Did Dropbox come pre-installed on the computer and offer the promotion when launched? If not, then the model you purchased likely isn't eligible. In order to redeem most of these device-related promotions (Dell, HP, etc.), you have to use the Dropbox application that comes pre-installed.

I believe it's one year from the date of activation. Also keep in mind that if you've had a previous bonus through a Dell promotion, you wouldn't be eligible for another, even with a new device purchase.
