How can I convert my Dropbox account from personal to Business Essentials?
I have a personal plus account. I started a small business and need the business essentials to use with a few clients. I don't see this option on the upgrade page. Is this possible? Thanks.
I don't...

10 months agoThanks for giving that a go! Can you send me a screenshot of the options you see on your end, so that I can check if there’s another option?

I posted a separate reply with the screen shot of the options I see in my account on the Upgrade tab.. Also, I found this page in the help that clearly says that the options I see in my account are not the business options.
Tks

I need to know how to convert my Plus plan to Essentials. That was my original question. I can see how to purchase it as a new account. But Essentials is not an option on my upgrade page, as discussed above.
I was able to get someone on the phone who told me to just upgrade to Professional. He assured me that Professional was the same as Essentials, but clearly, it is not. I specifically asked about e-Signatures, and he assured me that Professional includes this. It does not. I could tell he didn't know and didn't care.
Meanwhile, I'm going around in circles here trying to get help.

I can also replicate what CatMasa is seeing via my old soon to be retired plus account ....
The whole new/upgrade subscription path is so fragmented and convoluted with so many new and old options even the Dropbox staff are confused ... Its a mess!
Click on "view upgrade options"
and you get this page .... no Essentials which I was told in the very distant past would replace Professional - if so why is the Professional plan still a thing for new customers. 😔
