A letter is missing in my email address so I can't verify it

Hi,
I have a Dropbox account where I see that a letter in my email address is missing. I therefore cannot verify my email as the email does not reach me.
I cannot go to "Account > Settings" and manually adjust the email address. Can't select "Edit", only "Verify email address"
Support just refers me to the FAQ.
How do I solve this?

    Hi there Cina1 - sorry to hear about this.

     

    Could you please clarify if the letter is missing before or after the @ symbol for your email's domain?

    In that case, you can try creating the email address to be able to verify it Cina1 

     

    Otherwise, you'd need to open a new account using the correct email address.
