Accessing an account when the email has been discontinued

I had a Dropbox account that I used for school (I'm a teacher.)  I have moved to a new school and was in the process of moving files from the old account to a new one, but I can no longer access it because I cannot get the verifying access code Dropbox is trying to send to the old email.  I know the email and login for the old account.  Is there any way to get in one last time to move everything?

If you forgot your password or if you're being prompted for a verification code, there's no way to access the account without access to the old email address. Your best option will be to contact the old school and see if they will temporarily reinstate your email address.
