What happens if I delete a folder someone else shared with me?

Hi. I hardly ever use Dropbox but I might have a new need for it. However, I have to clear most of what's already in my account to make enough space. One thing that's on my list of Files is a Folder ...

    Good question. If it is a shared folder, the folder will just be temporarily deleted in your end but the owner of the folder or the person who shares the folder can still be able to see everything. In clearing up space due to big amount of Shared files , you may refer the instruction on this link:  for you to be able to leave the shared folder  and make up a storage space into your account.
