Andrea P : I would like to know the true requirement of CHECKER.DBX

As I control 3 devices/same account all in current sync,

2 containing CHECKER.DBX files 11KB in size last updated 2015/07/27

    1 containing a CHECKER.DBX file  11GB in size last updated 2015/09/16

I dont believe one device requires a file 100,000,000% the size of the other 2.

    Hi Dave,

Would that 11GB computer be recently linked to your account by any chance? Did you had an important number of files on that computer?

When was the last time you added file locally on that particular computer?

BTW, the size of checker.dbx is also related to the number of files you have locally, do you have different selective sync settings on those 2 computers?

The device has been recently relinked to the account.

Yes the computer houses near 400K of files.

    Files are added/removed/edited daily.

Re: "the size of checker.dbx is also related to the number of files you have locally" all the devices house 99% the same files, each additionally houses one folder unique to itself this folder is regularly empty, only 1 of 3 devices has a 11GB checker.dbx, the others are 11KB.

I am in contact with a consultant now .

    Hi Dave,

Feel free to delete that 11GB file to free up space!

Thank you, and just to confirm, its date had not updated, and no negative result occurred from its removal, a new 11KB file was generated. That rose to 200MEG for unknown reasons, but 200meg who cares vs 11GB being a what this!
