Danke für Ihren Tipp, mit einer Neuinstallation der App wird die Fehlermeldung nun nicht mehr angezeigt.

Es wundert mich nur das es in der Dropbox App keine andere Möglichkeit gibt Fehlermeldungen auszublenden, außer einer kompletten Neuinstallation der App.
