How can I tell if a fax was received?

I received an email from Dropbox saying that my fax was sent.

Does this mean that it was received?

If not, how can I tell if it was received without asking the receiver?

    Hi wtcolor, thanks for joining the Community!

    In general, when you get that email, it means that the system has processed the fax and it has been sent to the number you specified.

    It should have been received on the other end, unless there was an error with their fax machine in some way.
