Community ManagerFrankiilab how are you generally finding the transition from Google Photos to Dropbox? Other than the upload filtering and album organization, of course.
Hey Dell_Dropbox, the transition hasn’t been smooth because I had to download my existing photos from Google Photos into over 10GB ZIP files before reuploading them to camera uploads. I know there's an upload option from ‘Google Drive,’ but not from 'Google Photos.’ It would be helpful if such a feature were available to make the transition more seamless and allow for background transfer.
Also for me personally even if Dropbox had a separate app for just photo backup and management I wouldn't mind! It would be a direct competitor to Google's photo app really.
