Hide folders from Photos tab
I have a lot of photos in my Dropbox, both edited and raw/unedited files. It would be great with the possibility to hide certain folders from the Photos tab so that e.g. all of the unedited raw files doesn't show up in between the final versions. Also, this would allow hiding folders with other image files that you don't want in your photo collection. This could either be some right-click folder property, or it could be done by adding e.g. a .dropboxhidephotos file to the folder.

Viewing my files in a chronological order- especially necessary for photographs. An example of the need for the photos that I put in a folder for a client is this- I photographed a construction site to capture existing conditions along a perimeter of a project. It’s important that all the photos facing north be grouped together- one shot after another. If the client wants to follow along the walk and the conditions, it just doesn’t make sense for the shots to be out of order. Not only that, it makes me look unorganized and unprofessional. Another example is taking photos of a goalie at at soccer game. Doesn’t it seem logical that the shots would reflect the action of the ball and the player in the order that the ball is played? Having the shots in order is a necessity. Having to search and arrange myself takes extra time. I view this organizational tool as a priority. Thank you.
Scroll through photos in fullscreen mode on Android devices
Currently, it's not possible to scroll through photos smoothly in the app on Android devices. This limits usability, especially when browsing photo collections. I suggest implementing a swipe or scroll feature that allows users to navigate between photos seamlessly, simular to galleri apps. This would greatly improve the user experience for photographers and others who manage visual content in the Dropbox app. Thank you for considering this improvement.
Download all comments from a folder into a .csv file.
We need a way to download all the comments in a folder as a .csv. For instance, I have over 100 images, each with a comment from the client on it. It is neither helpful nor time saving for me to download a text file one by one. Bonus points if we could also have the images embedded as thumbnails.
Imperative: Camera Uploads Update
Hello. Can you please make it so that people are able to change the name of the "Camera Uploads" without it cancelling the automatic uploads after doing so and also make it so that people can simultaneously upload files from multiple albums in their device into separate folders on Dropbox? This will make it far easier everyone to organize everything, especially when sharing the folder(s) with others. Point 1: As of right now, if someone were to change the name of the "Camera Uploads" folder to something else, let's say to "Andrew's Content," the automatic uploads will completely cancel future automatic uploads into that folder and create a whole entire new folder, again named "Camera Uploads," resulting in 2 separate folders which is inefficient, can lead users to become very confused, and what can be seen as an error in the algorithm from my point of view. Point 2: If a business has multiple people sharing their "Camera Uploads" folder to them, that business has no way to distinguish between which "Camera Uploads" folder belongs to whom, nor is the business able to change the name of the folder for themselves on their end. This is a major problem. Point 3: When people want to set up automatic uploads from multiple albums in their phone named, let's call them 'Content 1,' Content 2,' and 'Content 3,' and have them saved in either the same and/or separate folders in Dropbox, they can't because it is not even a feature. We often store images or screenshots in specific folders, and these end up mixed in with our main photos, creating visual clutter. Allow us to watermark multiple selected photos at once.
Currently the only two options in Dropbox is to watermark a photo 1 by one, opening the photo, selecting watermark, and then configuring the watermark on the photo and then saving. Or you have the option to add a watermark to entire folders. There is no option to just select multiple photos in a folder and apply a watermark. If I am dealing with multiple folders each day with 60 pictures in each and need to watermark 40 out of the 60, my only option is to spend an hour watermarking them one by one. There should be savable watermarks, so if I select multiple pictures to watermark I do not have to input watermark inputs every time and just simply select a saved input. Instead of suggesting work arounds, Dropbox should actually implement features to make user interaction much easier.Enhanced filter / search using the Photos tab directly
I really like the photos tab functionality that allows you to select which type of items and show grouped by year /month / day and resize the images with the - + (this layout below) and being able to move to a specific year by clicking on the menu on the right of the screen but I would really like to be able to filter the photos to show a selection of them using the tags I have allocated to the individual files on this photos tab. The only way that I have found to filter the images is to use the search bar to look for a tag - it does show the correct photos but on the "All Files" tab and I lose the functionality to use the years/months/days viewing and the sizing - + and in particular I can't then select a year because the menu on the right disappears. This would be useful if searching a tag that would return a large number of photos ie. #holiday
