Can we have an option to add a new folder upon saving a file on the iOS app?

When saving a file or a URL on the DB iPhone app, thx for making it somwhat easier to navigate to when the user wants to save the file. (Though it could be better w options for sort by most recent, alphabetical, etc).

But the biggest issue is the user can’t create a new folder within the selected folder while still in the save mode.

User has to drop the new file loose and then go back and create the new folder and then move the previously dropped file into the newly created folder.

Yes, this is extremely aggravating and is causing me to rely on Dropbox less... it has interrupted my remote workflow considerably as I need to use a desktop/laptop computer to be able to do what I previously could do with my iPhone alone. Dropbox on iOS had previously completely untethered me from my office... now I feel I've taken a giant step backwards without being able to create folders while saving files.  Creating folder while saving files seems like such an obvious thing to be able to do.. please fix this.

    Hi, Benny,

Sometimes you just want to make a quick comment and don't feel like going through the whole setup process, I totally agree.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

    Cheers, Kent

True that, Kent.  I'd forgotten to consider the added filter of "Argh, another account?"  Modern life, I guess.  :)

    Hi, Benny,

This is very much an issue with me, too.  I find it aggravating to go through the process twice, as you had described. I had posted a similar comment in another thread, and was directed here.

Not everyone wants to create IDs / participate in forums. Dropbox would likely be surprised at how many people view this as the number one thing they want fixed.

    Thanks, Kent

Thanks very much for reviving the topic, Daphne.

I think that it's probably more wanted than it would appear on here, simply because life can get super busy (especially these days), and folks (such as myself) would think, "I've got to ask them for this feature", and then promptly forget because the next fire needs putting out.  But then they'd think later, when faced with the same situation, "oh that's right... **bleep**!".   :)

    Cheers,

    Benny
