It would be great to have a 1.75x option for playback speed of videos on the mobile app (iOS).
All major video platforms like YouTube, Wistia etc have 1.75 x speed also. Sometimes 1.5 is slow and 2 x is fast and hence 1.75x is idea for videos. So when I am watching the Dropbox video on my iPad it does not have 1.75x speed. Would be great to have this speed.
Option to translate any document directly from the mobile app
Hello, today I noticed while reading a file in a foreign language that if I click on a word or a text, it is not possible to translate the text, it is a real shame because it would be a very useful function, especially today considering that artificial intelligence is present everywhere. I would find it really useful if with a click you could translate documents, pdf files etc...
Retain folder structure when using Camera Uploads on mobile app
Backing up photos on mobile dumps them all into one 'Camera Uploads' folder. The expected behavior is that the photos uploaded will stay in their own folders. This should at the very least be a toggle option. Every other Dropbox Backup solution retains folders, so why are photos any different? You even select the folders to upload from when setting this up, so the functionality is a step away. Pretty jarring UX from an otherwise great service.
Android App: Fullscreen mode / Presentation mode / Slideshow for viewing images
Hello, until a few years ago, there seems to have been a “fullscreen mode”, “presentation mode” or “slideshow mode” in the Android app. This allowed you to swipe through photos in a folder without leaving fullscreen mode. Current: 1. click on an image in the image overview 2. the image becomes large (in Dropbox, no other standard app linked) with header and footer (info, share button, etc..., see image below) 3. you click on the image again: Header and footer disappear 4. the current state is the desired one [Now you would expect to swipe to go to the next or previous image] 5. however, swiping only takes you back to the view mode from 2. with header and footer 6. only now does the swipe work However, I would like to present photos and videos in full-screen mode using the app. The cell phone is connected to the TV via WLAN screen share. Why has this feature been removed? MfG André
Full Emoji support in filenames
This idea needs no explanation. Im sure there are a ton of other use cases that can leverage full emoji support. Creating a new idea so the idea can continue to work towards implementation. I realize this is a thorny issue and implementation may be difficult. I feel just because it's difficult doesn't close the "idea" of it being implemented. The whole point of conversation and discussion is to keep speculating on new paths to making it happen!
