I want to be able to go directly to a single offline folder directly by clicking on an icon on my Home Screen on iOS just like I can add (share) a URL from Safari to my Home Screen. One click on an icon on my Home Screen takes me directly into a specific folder in Dropbox folder.192Views1like4CommentsPlease look at your android app version, it's so much better
Simple stuff but these are crucial. PLEASE look at the Android app version and improve the iPhone app version. When you want to add a file, there are CRUCIAL things missing: the list of your favorite folder should be show on that page where you need to select import folder. These favorite folder are surely the most important, the most used folders, so make the accessible in a click when we want to import a file. Still while importing a new file. There should be a "back" button if you click on the last used folder. Sometimes the appropriate folder is the one just before and because there is no button to go back to the previous folder, you must start from the very first folder in the main string... We are in 2026, things like that shouldn't happen. If you import a file that as the same name, you can only "replace" or "cancel" the import 😂 Where is the option to keep both? Like creating "name file (1).pdf" is too difficult? Now you need to abort the import, go back to Dropbox, change the file name that is already in Dropbox, and add the new file "again". When changing the file name, the current file name (minus the file extension) should already be selected and the keyboard should open up at the same time. We want to change the file name, make it easy to do it by saving us 3 clicks for nothing. 2026 is here 👍🏼 All these elements are already existing in the android version. There are no need to waist our time by keeping this Mac mentality that is from the Stone age. Technology is supposed to help us save time, not trying to remember Steve Jobs and his stubborn mindset. Let's go Dropbox iOS, it's time to catch up with Android 🚀129Views0likes8CommentsImproved MP3 Player: Play Audio While Viewing Sheet Music or Documents
Hi there, (for iPad/iOS and general) It would be great if the MP3 player could be displayed side-by-side (for example, in a side panel), so that MP3 files can play in a built-in player while a PDF or other document is open at the same time within the Dropbox app. This would be extremely helpful for musicians and similar use cases. Also, please ensure that basic MP3 playback options are available (some may already exist), such as play once, shuffle, and loop. For my workflow, “play once” would be the most important feature. Thanks a lot! (using iOs, iPad App)77Views1like2CommentsImplement a "No all" option to skip when uploading duplicate files
English : If everything goes smoothly during the download and not all files are included, that can happen. But: when I initiate the download again and some files are already there, the "replace?" question only responds with "skip" (=no) "yes" "yes, all"! Where's the "no, all"?! So sometimes I have to click skip several times until all the photos are finally completely downloaded... That can't be right?! It's been bugging me for half a year now, and I'm finally hoping for some help... Update and repost, after this was closed: Oh no! I thought, that it would be in your to do list now... I would still like to have such an option and I am really waiting for it. Can't believe, that I am the only one missing this option 🥲45Views0likes1CommentRetain folder structure when using Camera Uploads on mobile app
Backing up photos on mobile dumps them all into one 'Camera Uploads' folder. The expected behavior is that the photos uploaded will stay in their own folders. This should at the very least be a toggle option. Every other Dropbox Backup solution retains folders, so why are photos any different? You even select the folders to upload from when setting this up, so the functionality is a step away. Pretty jarring UX from an otherwise great service.200Views6likes4CommentsCustom playback order for music files in a folder, or a player plug in.
As a music producer, after finishing produced mixes, the mix versions are moved to a Dropbox folder to listen to them. It would be great to be able to listen to them in a custom order without having to rename each file with numbers and then sort them by name. For an album, it would be great to order the songs on the fly to see which order sounds best. A great option would be a player in the style of VOX inside dropbox additionally with a level adjustment option for each audio file or mp3.86Views0likes2CommentsiPad iOS - Widget options
It would be super helpful to add additional options to the Add Widget . For example you have the option for the Starred files but not to scroll through them which would be great to utilize. It’s available with other widgets but not with Dropbox. Thank you!!!😁50Views0likes1Comment
