Colour Code "Files"
Whilst my files are sorted into many different "Folders"
Being able to colour code files in each folder would be really helpful to me.

Just to make sure we're on the same page: are we talking about tagging files and how they could be colored, or about coloring the file names themselves?
I'd like to ensure I fully grasp the idea of what you wish to achieve, before proceeding. 😃

I think the coloring the file and folder names will be the best. You can look how Adobe dose that in there Adobe Bridge.
