I really would like to receive an acknowledgement that my files were sent and more importantly that they were received and dowlnoadaded from clients that are not using Dropbox. WeTransfer provides this option and it's perfect for me as the sender to have a receipt the client has the files.

Status changed:NewtoOpenCorrect, although Dropbox currently doesn't have download receipts, in the meantime you can access some stats for your generated links using Dropbox transfer, you can see:
- When the transfer was downloaded
- How many times
- When it expires
To send:- Visit Dropbox Transfer
- Click Create transfer and add your files.
- Send the generated link or email it directly to your client
Check download status- Go back to Dropbox Transfer.
- Select the “Sent” tab.
