I think it would be great if we could add metadata tags to files for quick shorting/searches. Similar to hashtags. Something like #upbeatmusic or #unedited/#editied

Community ManagerIt sounds like you’re looking for metadata you can attach to a file or folder to make it easier to organize and find later. In Dropbox, Tags already work this way. You can add tags to files/folders on dropbox.com and then search them in the format #tag_name.
