Hello Dropbox Team,
When we generate a link in Dropbox, it is usually very long. I would appreciate it if you could provide an option to shorten the link or allow users to customize it by choosing their own preferred words instead of the default long URL. Currently, there are external websites that offer this feature, but it would be much better and more convenient if Dropbox could include this option directly within the platform.

Dropbox used to have that ability years ago but it was removed.
With the length of the URLs increasing in recent years due to the change to the scl link format and the inclusion of the rlkey, it would be extremely beneficial for the link shortening service to return.
