Sending large files to dedicated email address and have them added to the storage automatically
I was hoping to avoid uploading and downloading a 125GB file multiple times that I already have in WeTransfer. Other services allow for a dedicated email address to send large files to that will automatically add those files to storage. Perhaps you could convey that to your product management team as an enhancement request. Thank you for your help.
Hyperlinking to a certain page in a PDF file via Dropbox
Hi, It would be fantastic to be able to send out a hyperlink, to a certain page in a PDF. I have tried using hyperlink=#page=15 (for example) and a number of other approaches all unsuccessfully. This would be a really useful feature for dropbox. It would save me so much time. Thanks,
I'd like to be able to change the permissions on all shared links at the same time.
import a feature that changes the permissions of all the shared links simultaneously I'm having a hard time changing the validity of each link, and it's really tiring. This feature would be a miracle for me, it would make things easier. I want all the links. Anyone with the link can watch the video, but unfortunately some links are team-only, and I have to change their validity for whoever has the link. I hope you make this feature available. I have thousands of links, and I have to change them all, and it's very tiring.
Remove the delete ability from external user(s)
PLEASE allow us to restrict the ability of external users to delete files and folders in a shared folder. I just ran into an issue where a user, that had edit permission, deleted all of the files and folders in a shared folder. Allow us to restrict the ability to delete by users. Or change the view permission to upload files and folders. This seems so easy to do, yet it doesn't happen. If I'm missing a setting, please enlighten me. My idea is about locked files and the problem that people forget to unlock it after they're done working in it. To avoid that people forget to unlock a file after they close it, it would be nice that you get a warning about the file still being locked when you close it. (in the same way an application asks you if you want to save changes before closing it) This notification would avoid the problem that a file stays locked for hours or days without reason, just because someone forgot to unlock it.
Be able to select multiple files from a shared link (to download).
I recceived a shared Dropbox link from a family member. Using a browser, I can open the shared link and view or download individual files. I can also download ALL files in the shared link. However, I cannot select multiple files to download. When viewing the files that I own, I can select multiple files. This same functionality should be available with files available from a shared link.
