View org-mode / Orgzly files as text
Requesting a feature update that would allow org-mode /Orgzly files with the extension ".org" to be viewed as text files in Dropbox.
Orgzly for Android allows for creation and editing of org-mode files in Android, and syncing with Dropbox. Being able to view the files would useful, without having to open them in a text editor (e.g. Emacs).

Dear Dropbox Development Team,
This issue remains in the "needs more votes" category even though it has more votes than almost all delivered ideas. To add to this it sounds like it would be an extremely small change (allow .org file format to be treated like plain text).
Kindly take another look at this. Thank you.

Yes please!
It would also allow full text searching across all your org files, for which there's no option on mobile that I know of, since Dropbox dropped the sync API.
This basically boils down to adding ".org" to your list of text file extensions, it can't be that hard :)

Echoing others here, simply having the ability to treat .org files as plain text, and edit them like plain text if possible, would be a huge quality of life improvement.

This now has significantly more support than a numbe of recently delivered improvements. @dropboxers can you kindly take another look?

Yep I would love to see this implemented

I absolutely agree with this suggestion. The Emacs community would be very happy with this implementation.

This would be so cool, especially with *code blocks*.

Simply having the ability to view them as plaintext, especially in the Dropbox Android app, would be much appreciated. Even if it didn't support editing.
Currently it wants to open them with random applications (in particular, it seems to suggest the Plague Inc. game).

I'd also like this feature, i think it would make sharing these files a lot easier as well, or viewing them when I'm on the go. Currently org mode lacks a great solution for viewing and editing on the go, this would be a killer feature for me.
