Dropbox App on Mac stopped working - no error message or activity

I have been using Dropbox on Mac for many years, but I just noticed that it stopped syncing about one week ago. The Dropbox icon doesn't appear on the top menu bar. When I try to click on the Dropbox...

    Weird behavior on the Dropbox app icon, that it flashes when you click on it. Can you try to uninstall the app, then re-install it once again?
