Preventing shared users from notificatipons of file activities

I provide music for a large musical group and it is all stored in my dropbox. I share my files with the music group and I would like to find a way to prevent remote file users from receiving notifications as I set up the music. The users should still have access to all the files.  Is that possible?

You can't control that. Each member controls their own notification preferences.
