!!!BUG!!!

"Selective Sync" dialog stopped work! There was such indications during beta releases - seems ignored. Please take care. It works in version 79.4.143.

For more examples in beta releases where same problem exists, take a look here, here and here. Please, don't forget fix this "stable release" (especially in quotes)!

I'm completly agree.

Since latest actualization to 80.4.126 stable version, selective sync dialog has ben disappeared from preferences.

Please, fix it.

Linux client won't start anymore, I have issue on Arch Linux, but it's also present on Ubuntu.

It fails with: libdropbox_apex.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Fix is to change permissions of libdropbox_apex

sudo chmod 755 /opt/dropbox/libdropbox_apex.so

Workaround is using version 79.4.143 while freeze (chmod a-w -R ~/.dropbox-dist). 🎅

Also seeing this -- no selective sync window on this version.

Thanks Здравко,

Worked!  I downloaded the older version from https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Desktop-client-builds/Stable-Build-79-4-143/td-p/360015

It wasn't an installer so I copy and pasted the contents into my ~/.dropbox-dist and replace all.   I restarted and it worked for a little while until it auto-updated, thereby breaking it again.  Now I see what you mean -- I need to also lock the folder with your recommendation:

chmod a-w -R ~/.dropbox-dist

So far so good.   Back in business, literally.  :dart:

Yes @gmanfredi. That's right. At some later moment (let's hope no too far) back operation (unlock and allow auto update) is:

chmod u+w -R ~/.dropbox-dist

Good luck everyone.
