Can't find my app that I just created

Can't find my app that I just created

Hi

I have used a dropbox for over a year:

For my appPr1 / prj1, I upload weather data every hour and overwrite them after 24 hours.

Everything works perfectly!

For a new project, I want to use a new "app" named: appPrj2,  with its own sub-directories.

I followed: My apps -> Create app, - and everything went well:

But in the file summary, - where I usually access appPr1/prj1, - here I can not find appPrj2 at all.

 Why?

Sincerely Poul Christoffersen

Hi

Yes: I mean the file listing for my account.

Yes: I did register my new app with the "full Dropbox" permission

😉

Thank you very much. Very helpfull.

By "file summary", do you mean the file listing for your account, e.g., on https://www.dropbox.com/ or other Dropbox client?

It sounds like you may be looking for the "app folder" for your new app. Note that app folders are only automatically created for apps with the "app folder" permission. Did you perhaps register your new app with the "full Dropbox" permission instead? If so, you won't see an app folder for it; it would just have access to all folders.

You can check the permission level for each of your apps on the App Console. If you selected the wrong permission level, you can delete the app there, and then register another one with the desired permission.
