I have the same issue as the original poster. The 'Dropbox' folder at the given location has now been added to my Adobe Bridge 'Favorites'. But, the content of this folder is the Dropbox App, not the image files that I need. Is this correct?
The dropbox app is fine and so is the Adobe Bridge. I just need to find the dropbox image files in Adobe Bridge.

Hey @TimAldworth, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please clarify what you mean that the content of this folder is the Dropbox App and not the images you need?

Are the files you're looking for in Adobe, available offline on your computer through Dropbox or online only perhaps?

tim... it took me a few days to find it...
go to your dropbox app and look for the "sync" tab
there you will see the location of the files (images)...

then in bridge go to the "folders" tab and find the folder according to the sync location

once found... add it to your favorites tab in bridge...

it worked for me...!!!

Hi Walter, thanks for the swift response. Since the last Dropbox update the Mac finder puts the 'Dropbox' as a drive, as in this screenshot (highlighted in the grey column on the left):

TimAldworth_0-1666423439027.png

This Dropbox drive does contain all my files as shown on the right in the screenshot.
The Dropbox application --> Preferences --> Sync shows the 'Dropbox Folder Location' as in the next screenshot:

TimAldworth_1-1666423703299.png

THE PENNY HAS DROPPED !! I was navigating to '../Library/Dropbox/..'. I should have been navigating to '../Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox/..'

Now, when I navigate to this defined folder in Adobe Bridge, I see all my files !!!! as in this Adobe Bridge Screenshot:

I continued with the response, even though I found my error, in case it helps someone else.
Many thanks for the help!

None of the above. Drobpox force-moved its on-Mac folder to 'LOCATIONS' (along with all other mountable drives and virtual spaces) so it really isn't reachable in the Finder except for directly by opening the DB folder from the Finder sidebar.

RESULT: Adobe Bridge is now USELESS as far as accessing files in the Dropbox folder.

Check out all of my post from a few days ago [Saturday]. The solution works for me on my iMac, with the latest dropbox updated locations. Good luck.
