Please add Google Pay (and perhaps Paze / Apple Pay / Samsung Pay) as payment options for paid Dropbox subscriptions since PayPal sucks and many of us dont want to enter sensitive card details into third party websites like Dropbox.1View0likes0CommentsPlease look at your android app version, it's so much better
Simple stuff but these are crucial. PLEASE look at the Android app version and improve the iPhone app version. When you want to add a file, there are CRUCIAL things missing: the list of your favorite folder should be show on that page where you need to select import folder. These favorite folder are surely the most important, the most used folders, so make the accessible in a click when we want to import a file. Still while importing a new file. There should be a "back" button if you click on the last used folder. Sometimes the appropriate folder is the one just before and because there is no button to go back to the previous folder, you must start from the very first folder in the main string... We are in 2026, things like that shouldn't happen. If you import a file that as the same name, you can only "replace" or "cancel" the import 😂 Where is the option to keep both? Like creating "name file (1).pdf" is too difficult? Now you need to abort the import, go back to Dropbox, change the file name that is already in Dropbox, and add the new file "again". When changing the file name, the current file name (minus the file extension) should already be selected and the keyboard should open up at the same time. We want to change the file name, make it easy to do it by saving us 3 clicks for nothing. 2026 is here 👍🏼 All these elements are already existing in the android version. There are no need to waist our time by keeping this Mac mentality that is from the Stone age. Technology is supposed to help us save time, not trying to remember Steve Jobs and his stubborn mindset. Let's go Dropbox iOS, it's time to catch up with Android 🚀50Views0likes8CommentsImplement a "No all" option to skip when uploading duplicate files
English : If everything goes smoothly during the download and not all files are included, that can happen. But: when I initiate the download again and some files are already there, the "replace?" question only responds with "skip" (=no) "yes" "yes, all"! Where's the "no, all"?! So sometimes I have to click skip several times until all the photos are finally completely downloaded... That can't be right?! It's been bugging me for half a year now, and I'm finally hoping for some help... Update and repost, after this was closed: Oh no! I thought, that it would be in your to do list now... I would still like to have such an option and I am really waiting for it. Can't believe, that I am the only one missing this option 🥲33Views0likes1CommentDuplicate should only duplicate and not also move
In the Android app, when I duplicate a file, I usually want the copy to be in the same directory. However, the initial directory to save the copy is the root directory. Therefore, I have to tap many times to get back to the initial directory. This behavior is very similar to the behavior for the move feature. My idea suggestion is that the duplicate feature should only duplicate the file and not also include the move behavior. If I want to move the duplicated file, then I can do that after. Alternatively, the duplicate feature can include the move behavior but use the current directory as the initial directory.93Views1like2CommentsThe Dropbox app should have a dedicated backups tab
I hope this message finds you well. I primarily utilize Dropbox to back up my laptop files and maintain a clone copy of my external drive. The service has been invaluable in ensuring the safety and accessibility of my data. I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience: the addition of a dedicated tab within the Dropbox app to view backups. Currently, this functionality is only available through the web interface. Having direct access to my backups via the app would significantly improve convenience, allowing me to quickly verify and manage my files wherever I am. I believe this feature would be beneficial not only to me but also to many other users who rely on Dropbox for comprehensive file backups. Thank you for considering this suggestion. I appreciate the continuous improvements you make to Dropbox, and I look forward to seeing how the platform evolves. Best regards, Jesus E.224Views2likes6CommentsViewing my files in a chronological order- especially necessary for photographs.
Viewing my files in a chronological order- especially necessary for photographs. An example of the need for the photos that I put in a folder for a client is this- I photographed a construction site to capture existing conditions along a perimeter of a project. It’s important that all the photos facing north be grouped together- one shot after another. If the client wants to follow along the walk and the conditions, it just doesn’t make sense for the shots to be out of order. Not only that, it makes me look unorganized and unprofessional. Another example is taking photos of a goalie at at soccer game. Doesn’t it seem logical that the shots would reflect the action of the ball and the player in the order that the ball is played? Having the shots in order is a necessity. Having to search and arrange myself takes extra time. I view this organizational tool as a priority. Thank you.230Views3likes6Comments
