Please look at your android app version, it's so much better
Simple stuff but these are crucial. PLEASE look at the Android app version and improve the iPhone app version. When you want to add a file, there are CRUCIAL things missing: the list of your favorite folder should be show on that page where you need to select import folder. These favorite folder are surely the most important, the most used folders, so make the accessible in a click when we want to import a file. Still while importing a new file. There should be a "back" button if you click on the last used folder. Sometimes the appropriate folder is the one just before and because there is no button to go back to the previous folder, you must start from the very first folder in the main string... We are in 2026, things like that shouldn't happen. If you import a file that as the same name, you can only "replace" or "cancel" the import 😂 Where is the option to keep both? Like creating "name file (1).pdf" is too difficult? Now you need to abort the import, go back to Dropbox, change the file name that is already in Dropbox, and add the new file "again". When changing the file name, the current file name (minus the file extension) should already be selected and the keyboard should open up at the same time. We want to change the file name, make it easy to do it by saving us 3 clicks for nothing. 2026 is here 👍🏼 All these elements are already existing in the android version. There are no need to waist our time by keeping this Mac mentality that is from the Stone age. Technology is supposed to help us save time, not trying to remember Steve Jobs and his stubborn mindset. Hi, I am trying to use classic ASP to read the contents of a folder and create a list of hyperlinks to each file in the folder. I have created a script using an api token and it seems to execute but never produces a list. Has anyone got a bullet proof script which will do this?
Create a new Paper doc from/with a Paper template file while in Dropbox online
Currently, a user can create a new (blank) Paper doc and create a new Paper template by selecting the white "+" (black background) next to the search field. It would make sense to add functionality allowing a user to create a Paper doc from/with an existing template here as well. With the recent changes to Paper, templates are not nearly as valuable, and this would restore some of the value as well as be a piece of very complementary functionality to the actions already present.
Why am I getting a "Can't create folder" error when attempting to create a folder via web ui?
see screenshots below on the sequence. very frustrating an lacking in-app help of any kind to explain why. thanks in advance for help/ thoughts. 1 - navigate to menu 2 - select create folder 3 - give folder a name 4- error appears at bottom of screen
