It seems like Dropbox doesn't give any options to remove or change payment info. I'm reaching out to the community because I need help with this issue! It is also quite annoying that email support is a paid feature. UPDATE: I have reached out to support via email, and they replied (I thought it was only for paid subscribers...). Basically, they told me that payment methods get automatically removed once you downgrade to the basic plan. I was already on the basic plan, but after they replied, the payment info vanished from my account. Need to delete credit card that is on my dropbox account and am unable to find a way to do that. Went to Billing, see existing credit card information but no way to delete it. There should be a way to delete my card from the website. Googled looking for information and that info is wrong. Hope someone can help. Hey I canceled my payment 3 days ago just after I had already paid one fee but you have taken a second charge a couple hours ago. Why should I be charged again, you gave no warning about taking another charge why would you take money in the space of 3 days like that when I have a canceled subscription ? You have no way to get in contact other than robots. I purchased the subscription less than a month ago so how have you guys taken over $60 for not even a month of use ? I feel like you take money off your customers and rely on robots to hide. My rating so far is 0/10 and i will not be using this service again if this can't be sorted out. Anyone reading check to make sure these guys don't rip you off also because if they are doing it to everyone then that's theft and they will be making millions off a service that holds just over a gig of storage for me lol. Hi, This is Thenmozhi Murthi. I have been experiencing a lot issues with both subscribed and unsubscribed versions of dropbox account. For the past 2 years, I had subscribed version of dropbox and experienced the following issues - multiple accounts were created with all my email accounts (2 icloud, 3 gmail) - files uploaded from my ipad or iphone is saving a copy in the device and bloating the device storage space - upload speed is 1/10th (with wired ethernet) of the actual internet speed - Had reported the storage and bandwidth issue to Dropbox support. Shared many screenshots and videos. But no fruitful response. It was total waste of time. - deleting a dropbox account is a nightmare (esp. with icloud email). Tried to delete my dropbox account before deleting one of my icloud account. But ran into error. Finally, i deleted icloud account which was in trouble. - I gave up on the subscription and no longer have a subscribed version of dropbox. For my privacy reasons, I would like to delete my free version of dropbox but again running into error when i tried to delete my account. 2 Days ago, I was using the trial plan for business plan, and I decided to cancel the free trial plan and switch to the "essentials" plan which i had 8 months left already payed, but somehow, the dropbox team decided that it will a good idea to entangle the user into terminating your account if you cancel that plan, and I have no idea why someone would ever add such a thing on the billing page.
