Hello, I've had my account for years (more than 10) with 10GB after all the tasks and referrals, but now my account is showing as only 2GB. I still have this account synced with local service that shows 10gb. What is going on? I checked the referral page and none of my referrals show either.31Views0likes3CommentsMessage from the Dropbox app that "1 File is Unable to Sync".
Hi, I am a longterm user of Dropbox on Windows desktop. I have one dropbox folder/file that is not syncing. All the rest of my files are syncing fine. The message I get from the Dropbox app is "1 File is Unable to Sync" I tried exiting the app and then rebooting the app. And, that didn't solve the issue. I also renamed the problematic file in the cloud and then didn't solve the issue. I tried to rename the problematic file on my desktop but it wont allow me. It gives me the error message "This action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open to another program." I have checked all my programs and I don't see any program running any file in that folder. Any thoughts on how to proceed? Thanks.Solved25Views0likes3CommentsIs it possible to change the quality of files prior to downloading?
Hello - I am attempting to download videos but they appear to be in 4k and then lag when i play them after downloading. Is there anyway to change the quality prior to downloading? I don't see this option but I do see the option to watch the video in a lower pixel count on dropbox. Thanks19Views0likes1CommentACTUAL SPACE BEING USED TO COMPARE ONLINE VS OFFLINE
I wish to view my actual use of storage online vs. offline. If I choose to make available offline, then they should be equal. All past searches as well as Google searches reference old screenshots and nothing relevant to what exists today. Mac, is my PC, cloud is your Dropbox. If cloud says XYZ Gb is being used (12345,000 files, as and example) local PC should equal with XYZ GB and 12345,000 files being stored locally. How do I see, compare, validate, check? WHY is this becoming such a challenge to use? All the complaining in these forums, yet nothing seems to actually be easy!49Views0likes9CommentsChatgpt Actions to interact with Dropbox

I've used dropbox for quite a while on my hp envy laptop, windows10, office365. Suddenly, every time I try to open an office document (word, excel, pp - all), I get the following msg: "Excel/Word... is running into problems with the "dropbox for office" add-in. If this keeps happening, disable this add-in and check for available updates. Do you want to disable it now?" When I clicked YES (disable), it didn't solve the problem. I couldn't open any document without making a copy (and it didn't let me save the original). This is my all my work here, so this is urgent - anyone can help??Solved40Views0likes4CommentsDeleting files to free up space should be reflected immediately
Deleting files to free up space should be reflected immediately on your Dropbox account. Why do I have to wait 12 hours to see the changes applied? If I reach the limit of my storage, that's what happens. I can't upload files because the system still thinks I'm full, when I'm not.50Views0likes1Comment
