Onthe last few startups of my Windows 7 desktop, the EventViewer has shown the following error and subsequent information logs as the error is corrected by Windows: Record Number: X 95916 Log Type: Application Event Type: Error Source: DbxSvc Category: 3 Event ID: 320 Failed to connect to the driver: (-2147024894) The system cannot find the file specified. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Record Number: 95931 Log Type: Application Event Type: Information Source: ESENT Category: 3 Event ID: 300 Windows (2500) Windows: The database engine is initiating recovery steps. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Record Number: 95932 Log Type: Application Event Type: Information Source: ESENT Category: 3 Event ID: 301 Windows (2500) Windows: The database engine has begun replaying logfile C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\MSS.log. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Record Number: 95933 Log Type: Application Event Type: Information Source: ESENT Category: 3 Event ID: 302 Windows (2500) Windows: The database engine has successfully completed recovery steps. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Record Number: i 95915 Log Type: Application Event Type: Information Source: DbxSvc Category: 2 Event ID: 258 Pipe server thread started. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It seems as if the Dropbox service may be trying to start too soon as, after the initial error, Windows seems to be able to correct the problem and everything works correctly. This is a very recent happening and I cannot relate the change to any system changes. Is there anything I can do to stop the error - if I didn't regularly check the Event Viewer I would be none the wiser so perhaps I'm being too sensitive. Thanks.Solved80KViews0likes254CommentsCome and join our Dropbox Replay group

If you like what we said here about Dropbox Replay, we have some excellent news, Dropbox Replay is now available globally, whatever your needs may be đ Now that itâs out of Beta and available to everyone, we want to share some of our favourite features of Replay, and remind you how our own Super User, lukeyo, uses Replay to keep his documentary edits in line too. The thing that we love about Replay is that it can help folks to consolidate their digital tools with Dropbox so thereâs less to manage. This also combines the video, image, audio review process tools that many people use as well! A limited version of Dropbox Replay is included for free with all Dropbox plans, so you get access to a media review and approve tool and Dropboxâs organization and collaboration tool, all in one place. Add any video, image or audio file right from Dropbox (or your desktop) into Replay in just a couple clicks. Weâre all about efficient and sensible workflows, so we are excited about how Replay can help you to reduce the back and forth with frame-accurate feedback, markups, and the ability to comment across multiple frames. Reviewers can specify the exact point they want to share feedback on to prevent miscommunication. And of course, you can get feedback from anyone, no special software or Dropbox account needed. Check off your to-do list to make sure youâve addressed all comments by resolving them as you work through them. It also means that your teammates, clients, and other collaborators see that their feedback has been incorporated in the next edit. We love to see everyone on the same page! That was exactly what Luke mentioned here: "Getting towards the end of a recent project, I needed some really specific feedback on very specific sections of the film, and Replay kept that all in one place. I really like it when something works that simply. When you tick off the feedback in Replay, itâs like ticking off a real life to-do list - when I go shopping and Iâve bought the milk, I tick it off and I never need to think about that again, so itâs finished, and this is the same level of reassurance.â So thatâs the limited version of Dropbox Replay which is now available to everyone, but if you want even more features, and you have a Dropbox Plus, Pro, Standard, Advanced or Enterprise plan you can purchase the Dropbox Replay Add-On. With the add-on you get all of the above collaboration features as well as being able to upload as many files as you have space for based on your Dropbox plan, plus more premium features including: Set password protected shared links Turn shared links on/off in a single place Get auto-generated transcriptions and closed captions on videos Archive projects to Dropbox Send large file transfers (250 GB) with Dropbox Transfer Set due dates for collaborators We are also happy to say that a lot of the Dropbox engineers and product managers are on the Community, so if you have any feedback, questions, or requests for features you want to see in Replay, please let us know in the comments below!14KViews1like6CommentsSeamless end-to-end encryption, Microsoft Co-Authoring, new Dropbox Replay features and more
You might have already spoken to some of the team at Dropbox who build Dropbox here on the Community forums, and we are so happy to be able to update you when they have some updates to share! The team have been busy and here are some updates on end-to-end encryption (which we know youâve been looking forward to), Replay, integrations, Dash and more. Keep reading and donât forget to let us know what you think! Advanced data protection features add extra layers of security to confidential content with seamless end-to-end encryption and advanced key management If youâve been using the Dropbox Community for any length of time, you might have seen requests for end-to-end encryption and we have excellent news! It is here! New advanced data protection features from Dropbox provide businesses with sole control over how their data is secured. End-to-end encryption and advanced key management make it easy to protect sensitive and confidential files in Dropbox team folders. This means that no oneâincluding Dropboxâcan gain access to their files. Activating end-to-end encryption is as simple as creating a shared team folder and selecting the new encrypted folder option, requiring no technical expertise from the admin or account owner. Files are encrypted when added to the folder and decrypted when a team member is added to the encrypted folder. Only users who have been invited to an encrypted folder can access the files stored within it. Team members quickly get access by invitation to the shared team folder, similar to sharing a regular Dropbox folder. Files are end-to-end encrypted on the team memberâs device before they are securely synced with Dropbox servers. No oneâincluding Dropboxâcan decrypt the file or access your private key. With advanced key management, teams can set up a unique encryption key as an added layer of security to ensure only members of their organization can access Dropbox files and protect against threats. Keys are automatically rotated every 12 months, and admins can rotate or revoke the key as needed. Dropbox Trust Center also launched today to streamline and accelerate risk assessments of Dropbox products with self-serve, anytime access to our security, reliability, privacy, and compliance information. Prospective and existing customers can streamline internal reviews, audits and risk assessment processes to get value from Dropbox products faster. Hi there, we've moved over from frame.io and are really enjoying how fast it is to check content using replay, I would like to suggest a few improvements. 1. Have the whole video area as a big play/pause button rather than the audio draw function, this makes it easier when switching from commenting to playing the content. Suggesting to make it how youtube works, and frame.io. If you want to draw, which for us is quite rare and the feedback is normally written, then you click on the draw button and then the video becomes something you can draw on. 2. BUG, when you edit a comment, the cursor auto switches to the beginning of the text - please change this so it's at the end. 3. When commenting, please make it so when you press 'Enter' it sends the comment and if you want a new line then you press shift+enter, how you usually would on a instant messenger. And give a tickbox option to change for those users who prefer the other way. 4. Email notifications - please allow somewhere where we can turn these emails off. 5. Desktop notifications - it's a generic notification that comes in that says 'Stuff they said...', change this so that 1. those notifications can be controlled and also what is written comes up as an actual notification and not something generic 6. Feature request - on frame io you could export the file as an xml and import it into final cut pro x, please bring in this functionality. Thank you, Preetcharan Singh5.5KViews4likes6CommentsDid you notice the Dropbox Replay group we just launched?
Hello musicians. I just wanted to put a little note in here to make you all aware of the Dropbox Replay group we recently launched. What is Dropbox Replay? Replay is a video, image, and audio review tool that allows you to mark up, comment on, and finalize projects. So if youâve just recorded a killer riff and you want your band mates to give you some feedback, you can send it on using Replay and receive real-time feedback without ever having to leave your browser. Likewise, if youâre making a jingle for a client, and they think a certain part needs more cow-bell, theyâll be able to show you exactly where they want it, speeding up the process and keeping your projects moving in the right direction. The Replay group will be a space where you can discuss how you use Replay as a musician, share your knowledge and experiences with other Replay users, talk about your current projects; and it'll also offer you the unique opportunity to connect directly with the Replay team and share your feedback and ideas directly to the people in charge of the product. Joining the Replay group Joining the group is really easy, all you need to do is follow this link and hit the âJoin Group Hubâ button and youâre in! Hopefully, weâll see some of you over there soon!5.3KViews0likes0CommentsDropbox Replay and Avid Media Composer
It is essential to make Dropbox Replay compatible with Avid Media Composer Adobe Premiere Pro is very useful for small and medium productions. DaVinci resolve is mainly used for color grading. Sometimes in editing. But when it comes to large productions, involving multiple collaborations such as VFX and compositing houses, using softwares like Nuke or Silhouette, we enter a different league. They all, without exception, use the MXF file format. So far, MC is the only software that does not use linked files. Everything is imported into a specific folder, transcoded into MXF, separated from the sources, which makes it the most stable system in the world. A solid rock. For all these reasons, I strongly suggest that Dropbox Replay include Avid Media Composer in the list of compatible editing softwares. Thank you, guys!
