I have a dropbox account shared with a team and I am the admin. I also have the dorpbox app in my laptop where I manage the local and online files. In 2024 suddenly I was unable to create folder in the main/shared folder as it asked for higher permission. I could not delete or move folders from the main/shared folder to my personal folder either. I managed to create folders by doing it in dropbox online. Hi, we were, a few years ago using Dropbox to store files for Connectwise automate to reference. Since 2015 we have not been using this, but recently I have had a new need to use this folder. There a folder that was taking up all 2gb (1.96gb to be exact) of storage. I deleted the folder and it let me do that, but when I went to permanently delete the data it gave an error that said I did not have permissions, but no one else has access to this folder. How can I get rid of this data to I can start off clean? Hi, I have a Dropbox Plus account with no add ons. I've used version history in the past and we were able to access on any given days, several different versions of the file. I now tried to look at the version history of a file, and it seems that only 1 version is saved every day. I accidentally uploaded a sensitive folder to my work dropbox and while I was able to delete it, I am not able to permanently delete it. I enter my password and nothing happens when I hit OK. The folder is still there. I need to remove it before work starts for the security of my accounts and information; I have passwords and stuff in it. The file is still available for restoring.
