File upload history on a shared folder
Hello, I would like to see the upload history (files names and uploaded dates) of all the file been upload by me to folder. Even files that where deleted. I want to know which files been upload by me to dropbox. I am now the owner/manager of a shared folder i would to check. using dropbox for windows desktop. prefer to check it through the web. Thanks.

How to rename the Dropbox root folder?
There is a post about this from 2015 with replies up to 2019 but the reply button is greyed out, hence I'm creating a new thread. I'm guessing Dropbox couldn't be bothered to find a solution so instead, they just silence their customers. Interesting. Guess what, it's 2022 and users still need an option to rename their folder. I recently upgraded to dropbox business and it renamed my entire dropbox folder from 'Dropbox' to..... '[xyz] Dropbox'. Yup, you guessed it- all file links incl. professional software I rely upon broken, causing thousands of wasted hours. The solution? Rename the folder back to just 'Dropbox'. Do dropbox allow this simple rename? Apparently not. 7 years after that first thread with thousands of complaints from users, Dropbox still hasn't enabled a simple 'rename' functionality. My question here: "Has anybody found a way to rename the root dropbox folder?????"

Shared link expired - how can I download the files?
Hi guys. About 8 years ago I did some acting for a film student based in Wellington. I was sent finished projects to my email via Dropbox. Recently I tried to access the works but I can't and displays a message saying link no longer works. I would desperately like to retrieve them. Unfortunately I have long since lost touch with the student involved. Any help would be so so appreciated. Thanks for taking time to read this 🙂☘️

Hello, The terms of use are a bit vague, so I need some more clarification please, particularly in layman's terms. If someone writes erotica (their own), and uploads to Dropbox to share to an 18+ audience, can they do so? Same question applies to those who have made their own amateur or professional porn videos Same question applies for amateur/professional porn audio (recording masturbation, etc.) Same question applies for amateur/professional porn pictures (nudes, photoshoots, adult models, etc.) As long as the porn is not illegal (aka includes minors, animals, those who cannot give consent, etc.), and all parties involved in the MAKING of the adult content are 18+ and consent, can they still upload and share their adult content? 'Email to Dropbox' email address created, but sent emails do not arrive in 'email attachment' folder
I have followed and successfully created and replied to the Dropbox email address that has been created for me. When I reply/forward to the email, nothing is appearing in 'email attachments' folder. I can upload a file to this area but that's not what I want to do - I want to forward hotels confirmation emails to Dropbox. Any suggestions?

Bulk update file versions
Hi, can someone help me to understand if Dropbox is suitable for my use case? 1. I need a way of versioning PDF files without changing the download link. I think this is standard functionality in Dropbox, however I have over 1000 price list PDF files in different languages that are updated frequently, and I'm trying to find a way to avoid manually updating each file version. It would be troublesome to update each file version one by one. Is there a way of bulk uploading new file versions from a CSV or something along those lines with the original download link remaining constant? Please let me know if any of this needs clarifying. Uploading software and music on Dropbox, what to be aware of.
Hey everyone I want to use Dropbox to upload some software I purchased, music and etc. This is of course copyrighted material, but is this a problem? Does Dropbox scan your files for this kind of activity, or can you only get banned when someone reports a DMCA? Kind regards Lucas
