Allow users to open and edit Google files directly from Dropbox.
Currently, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides created in Dropbox are just shortcuts to files in Google Drive. This adds extra steps and limits what users can do directly from Dropbox. It would be helpful to open and edit Google files from Dropbox itself, just like with Microsoft Office files. This would streamline workflows, improve integration with Google services, and eliminate the need to download, edit, and re-upload files.23Views0likes1CommentMy document's hanging indents are no longer showing, after uploading it to Dropbox.
I have this paper that was written on google docs and when I uploaded it to dropbox all of the hanging indents were no longer. The hanging indents then turned into straight left sided pagination with no indents. The thing is I uploaded the same exact paper weeks prior, just now I made a few changes. The paper uploaded prior shows the hanging indents! This new upload does not. What do I do to fix this?27Views0likes1CommentMy Dropbox profile picture changed to my Google account's, after adding files from Google Drive.
I was logged into my Dropbox account misc...@gmail.com and used that "Upload from Drive" thing to grab some files from my other Google Drive account ish...@gmail.com. But then, out of nowhere, my Dropbox profile pic changed to the profile pic of that ish....gmail.com Google account! That's kinda strange, right? Especially since those are totally different email addresses. It feels kinda wrong that just grabbing files from a Google Drive would mess with my Dropbox profile pic. Imagine if I was pulling stuff from a friend's Drive – I definitely wouldn't want their picture on my Dropbox! \ Just wanted to flag this as something that seems a bit off and maybe not how it's supposed to work.26Views0likes1CommentAccess to "overfilled" Dropbox
I have been using the free version of Dropbox and the automatic backups I had set overfilled it. Now I can't get into Dropbox to remove files or change what backups are made. If I click on Dropbox, it only shows a pdf file (not mine) and nothing else. In the bottom left corner of the screen is a message in pink showing that I have exceeded the storage limit. However, there is no option for actually accessing my files for deletion or changing anything in my account. A young man on Dropbox's help chat got me to a point where I could see the files, but I was unable to delete or download any of them. Very frustrating.35Views0likes1CommentI keep seeing an error with Google Play on my Android mobile app and I can't check my Dropbox plan.

Hello, I'm no longer able to access my original Dropbox account, which has an email-based login. I was able to access this account a few hours ago until I mistakenly accessed Dropbox using the Google-based login. As the Google login used the same email as my original email-based account, now every time I log in using email and password I can only see the Google-based account. It looks like this has replaced my original account, and all files are missing. All of this despite logging out and trying many times to reset the password. I have found other posts created by users with the same problem, but none of them seem to have a solution explained in the thread. Thanks in advance!45Views0likes3CommentsI don't see the "Import from Google Drive" option.
I'm trying to transfer a massive amount of data across from GDrive. When I hit create, it doesn't give me the option to 'import from Google'. Only Google Docs. Anyone know why this is or the best way to get large amounts of data across?52Views0likes2CommentsCan I backup my WhatsApp chat messages directly to Dropbox?
Hi Is there a way of directly backing up my WhatsApp (messages only) to my Dropbox. I cannot find a way of doing this as my WhatsApp only appears to show Google storage as the only storage available for this particular backup ThanksSolved2.2KViews0likes4Comments
