Why do I get a "Sorry, we could not find your file. Is it possible it was moved, renamed...?' error?
Error message states "Sorry, we could not find <filename>. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" It has not been moved, renamed or deleted. Not all Excel files are affected but this is not the first time this has happened. I have 3 computers and all of them have this issue. I'm using Office 365 on all 3 computers. How do I fix a 'Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges' error?
I have been using dropbox to store and access microsoft documents on my mac for months but out of nowhere this morning when I clicked to open a document I was told 'Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges'. Hello, I am using Dropbox (v206.5) on my iPad (up to date with IOS 14.01) and for most word documents I am able to open them from Dropbox app and edit them in word with no problem. Periodically, when I open them, the document will open in word, but I am unable to make changes to the document (can't even type or change text). I have checked to make sure that the documents are not "read only" and I when I try to open the documents on another device (my iMac), I am able to open and modify the documents with no problem. I have also check to make sure that the documents are not open on any other device. I have also tried to uninstall and re-install both the Microsoft word app and the Dropbox app on my iPad. Why do I need a license to edit Word and Excel files now?
So this just happened today. I can't create new Word or Excel files, nor can I edit existing ones. There is now a paywall that says I need a commercial Office 365 version. Um what? Working for an org that has a number of remote colleagues, we rely on being able to share and collaborate on our in-progress work. Canât edit Excel .xlsx in iphone (app is updated)
Hi, I hope someone can help me out. My iphone app version is 322.2.2 And I am trying to edit through ny iphone app an excel document (which I created on my Mac and is saved as an .xlsx. I click on rhe doc and then click âopenâ (which is in a gray box at the bottom) but I dont get the editing (pencil icon) option after that, I Can only share, save to Files ot print. can't save files from Office365-app to Dropbox - supposedly write protected
Hello there! Starting yesterday all of a sudden I can't save files to my Dropbox via the Office 365-app anymore. I get a message telling me that the file is write protected, which it isn't. It tells me to save a copy, when trying to do that I get the same error message. Up until the day before yesterday everything worked like a charm. I haven't knowingly changed anything about my smartphone's configuration, no new apps etc. Had anyone ever experienced this issue? Any ideas on how to solve it? Thank you! Cannot open Excel files with the Excel app through Dropbox on iPhone
I use the Dropbox app on my iphone. I used to be able to open excel files in excel by using âopen with - excelâ. But now it sends me to a screen saying Microsoft Integration wants permission. I hit the Allow button (the only other option available is âlearn moreâ) and it just takes me back to the list of files in Dropbox. I can never get past that.
