Dropbox Plan (Standard) Device (Acer Predator) Operating System/Browser (if using the web) (Windows 11) So, I claimed Dropbox Storage through Acer Jumpstart Dropbox Promotion 100GB in my account but it only showing me 2GB storage only. Why ?28Views0likes4CommentsMy (free) Dropbox account appears to have lost its extra referral space.
Dropbox Plan Standard Device Desktop/iphone Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11 Question or Issue I was a very early adopter and recommended Dropbox to many others, earning the maximum (I believe) storage space through my efforts. I have a number of not-for-profit files on the system, which are now under threat because Dropbox is now saying I only have a 2GB allowance. This came about after I uploaded some files on a temporary basis and hit my maximum storage space. This was quickly addressed, but I seem to have lost the space that I previously enjoyed, having earned it via referrals. I need to know whether or not it is recoverable, as I will have to make other arrangements for my not-for-profit activities if it isn't recoverable.203Views0likes12CommentsMy Basic account shows 2.6 TB âshared filesâ but I cannot see or leave any shared folder
Hi, My personal Dropbox account ([removed]) shows 2.64 TB used out of 2.5 GB. The storage page says that the space is used by âShared files (2.6 TB)â but I cannot see any shared folders in my account. I am not part of any team and I cannot find any shared folders under the /sharing or /share pages, or anywhere else in the interface. My own files are only around 190 kB. I also cannot change owner settings or leave any shared folder because nothing is visible. It seems like my account is linked to an old or hidden âlegacy shared spaceâ which is not visible in the current interface and cannot be removed by myself. Could a Dropbox Staff member please disconnect this hidden or legacy shared space from my account? This is the only way to restore the correct storage usage. Thank you very much. Help, I didn't want to sync all my files to dropbox and now I'm over my limit and can't access any files so I can go below this limit. Syncing has been stopped but what happens to my files on my computer if I cancel my dropbox account - will they get deleted ? I've since changed computers and transferred files / folders to the new desktop. Does dropbox have a link to my computer?132Views0likes7CommentsI received an email about my space being full and my files deleted - how come?
Hello, i got this email stating i'm over space limit and i must upgrade before a specific date or files MAY be deleted. I guess it's a way to push up to pay for more.. Or not? I searched online but wasn't able to find any annoucement/article mentionning this change of policy (until this day, AFAIK, files are being kept as long as you log-in from time to time/not leaving the account as dead. If there's a page mentionning this new thing (if it's real), please link? Thanks!78Views0likes8CommentsI'm getting storage space warnings, and can't view shared files, even though I have space.
Iâm hoping someone from Dropbox Support or the community can help clarify this. Legacy Dropbox account with 5.75 GB of storage. I earned the additional space years ago through referral bonuses for getting others to sign up. Recently, my account appears to be truncated back down to 2 GB, and Iâm getting storage-limit warnings and can't view shared files despite having additional capacity. It looks like some new systems weren't designed to support the referral-based bonus space. Iâve attached a screenshot showing the original 5.75 GB allocation. Has anyone else run into this? And Dropbox Support -could you help unlock the full 5.75 GB that should still be associated with my account? Dropbox Plan Basic Device Macbook Air M2 Operating System/Browser (if using the web) MacOS 26.0.1 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) Question or Issue Some time ago Dropbox notified my that my storage was above threshold because another user shared some huge files with me. I quickly deleted those files and several other and now my storage use is now down to 16,64%. However, Dropbox keeps sending me mails insisting that I need to upgrade my plan in spite of my low storage usage. It been a few weeks since I lowered my usage to 16,64% but the out of space-mails keep coming. How do I make this stop? Support rejects my question and has closed the ticket #25687729: Submission from Get HelpSolved171Views0likes7CommentsI'm receiving an error that I'm out of storage but I'm not.
Dropbox Plan Basic Device Windows laptops and PC Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11 I'm on Dropbox basic But because I've recommended a number of people to the service, I have a storage capacity of 8.5 gb. I am currently using 2.5 gb. But I am repeatedly getting error messages saying I've exceeded my allowance and my files are no longer syncing. As I'm on Basic, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to contact Support to resolve this issue. Any suggestions?41Views0likes2Comments
