Has anyone been able to successfully request a refund for an annual subscription billed without noticed? All I want is to switch to monthly billing. Customer service refused. I also contacted my credit company and they said they can't do anything because I didn't cancel the service. I am absolutely done I've gone through the whole Dropbox roundabout - Login, search for payment ID, use credit card details - that didnt work We even CANCELLED OUR CARD - and still the payments are coming out on our new card Every month, we get 2 charges for Dropbox, and no one in our office is connected or has a paying account. Dropbox Plan Plus Payment Method Credit Card How did you upgrade? Directly through the Dropbox website Question or Issue On 3rd Nov 2025, I updated the credit card details for payment, and the update and payment were successful. But on 6th Nov 2025, I received an email saying Renewal Payment failed, need to update and pay again. After I updated this time, I received the receipt. Now, my Bank Statement shows 3rd Nov and 6th Nov also deducted $129.47, which means that I have a double payment for the subscription period 1/11/2025 to 1/11/2026. Dropbox Plan Family Payment Method Credit Card How did you upgrade? Question or Issue I was being very careful to make sure I transferred all necessary files to my new platform. Once I was assured the transfer was successful, I canceled my Dropbox. Upon reconciling my credit card (statement closed over the weekend), I found Dropbox charged me a day after cancellation. The problem with Dropbox is that you cannot get support without a paid subscription. I haven't had a paid subscription for at least 15 months or more but I am still being billed. I have reached out and cannot stop the payments for a service that I cancelled at least 15 months ago.
