Editing PDF'S on a Xiaomi tablet ? Works fine on Windows, Mac, iPad, but not on this Tablet.
Has anyone managed to get the edit a PDF working on a Xiaomi tablet? (I am on MIUI 14.0.4) Editing PDF's from within the dropbox website works fine on Windows, Mac, iPad, using any browser. However on this Xiaomi, I have tried 5 browsers, and none of them will show the "Edit" menu item at the top when the PDF is open. Did not want to go down the the path of launching a PDF edit app, one of the other guys has tried this with mixed results. Can no longer save current or new MS word or excel file on dropbox with android devices.
I can no longer save current or new Ms word or excel files on dropbox, when I try and do so I get "Can't edit - This file is read-only. To edit it, first save a copy of the file". I get this even on brand new files never saved before, when I select Save a copy it comes up with the same meesage again. It works fine with my laptop just my phone and tablet are having the issue. IPad App - Offline Excel files wonât open without internet connection
Hi there, when I click an offline excel (or any MS file) in the iPad Dropbox app, I get an error saying âCanât open Excelâ and that I can view the preview of the file but not open/edit it. syncing bluebeam on ipad not showing all folders
I used to have dropbox synced with bluebeam revu and update files on the go with full access, then I got a new Ipad and now when I try to sync folders with dropbox it only shows my personal folder in dropbox and not the folder with all the files I use along with coworkers (bussines dropbox) I tried re installing both apps but it stays the same. Can you allow for more app choices for the "Open With" in your iPadOS. Right now Adobe Acrobat Reader is the only option for pdf and it is unsuitable for my needs. Ok - Iâm on the Dropbox Plus on Ipad. I collect a LOT of images that Iâm continuously moving from one folder to another within Dropbox. Generally itâs great - I just Drag it to the appropriate folder and it moves over! Awesome! BUT ⊠when I need to go back (even a single level) in the file tree - I have to go through the whole âmoveâ process ⊠and navigate from scratch to find the folder it is in! * HOW DO I drag UP - so it goes to the previous folder?? * OR See the File Tree in Columns (like in the Files App - which unfortunately has a host of other limitations Alternatively - are there settings or add-ins that can: * have a list of favourite folders as a starting point that you can GO TO - as opposed to the automatic ârecent foldersâ list - which go to that exact folder (it just âchucks the file inâ) Any ideas would be fantastic My current work-around: * Yes - the search feature when moving is a huge blessing, but Iâm sorting hundreds of images into different categories * Sometimes I just save it back to Photos, and re-drag it to the correct spot on my next sorting round. * Iâve yet to try using Dropbox and Files apps in Split screen - Iâll try that next. but am I missing something blatantly obvious?1.7KViews0likes3CommentsCan't add dropbox files from my iPad anymore
I have been using Dropbox for years and one of the feature I really like is the ability to import files directly from the Dropbox folder (on my iPad). For example, if a website is asking me for a copy of my passport, I would simply click on the upload, select the dropbox icon, and then choose the file I want to upload. But for the past couple of days this is not working anymore. It works fine on the laptop, but on the ipad I am getting this error (see screenshot below). I don't even know how to report this bug.
