Dropbox folder missing from indexed locations for searching on Windows 10
Device HP Desktop Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 10 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 238.4.6075 Syncing Status Up To Date Question or Issue I've not been able to find documents using search in my dropbox folder for a few weeks. I went to indexing options to remove dropbox from indexing and re-add it hoping it would rebuild the index. IT'S NOT THERE TO SELECT AT ALL!! I have my dropbox as a fold in Documents. When I go to C Users Myname Documents, dropbox is not there. I've right clicked the folder and in properties, went to advanced, UNCHECKED allow this folder to have contents indexed and applied that. Then I went back and checked it so they could be indexed and applied that. Dropbox is still not in the indexing options list of folders.
"Disable downloads" feature not working on the desktop app
Hi, I have the essentials plan but I do not have the feature to disable downloads. I have the "allow downloads on dropbox.com" toggled off(see picture) but that doesn't work because someone can still download it. Can someone point to me where is this "disable download" feature that I see online? Does it even exist within my current plan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All employee laptops are connected to the account and they all have the relevant shared folder stored locally as well as in the cloud. Question or Issue I am an admin on a business account. We have a common folder where all of our client files are stored. I hired a new employee that has a conflict with one of our client matters, and we need to wall them off from that one single file among hundreds, while maintaining access to every other file within that folder. The folders permissions use the group that includes all employees, and this person is a member of that group. What is the easiest way to wall them off from this one sub-folder while maintaining access to the other hundreds of files in this shared folder?
I've accidentally joined a Dropbox team, thinking it was a client sharing a file
Ive been using Dropbox to run my subscription business for 7+ years. Yesterday, I inadvertently clicked on a link thinking it was a shared folder with a client. I have now joined their team, and my acvpunt has merged with theirs. They have ALL my business/tax information and client files. Ive tried to contact them to no avail, I don't think they'd used Dropbox before, and don't really know what they're doing. My account has hundreds of subscriber folders, all linked to specific URLs, so I cant lose my account. I've been a paying customer for years, however support so far has been non-existent, stating that i must contact this non-contactable "admin" for them to restore... potentially DELETE my entire account. I really need my account separated ASAP, my entire business and livelihood depend on it. I can't believe something so catastrophic comes with no warnings! If anyone can please help, I'll be forever in your debt.A new folder I created says it doesn't have an owner when I try to share it

It is not within another folder - when I click All Files, it shows at that level. Then I tried to Share it and I got the message below. I've never encountered this problem before when creating folders. What have I done wrong, and how can I create a new folder that I can share?
We can no longer add an expiration date or password for our shared links on Family.
Hello, We used to be able to set a password or expiry time for shared files and folders in Dropbox Family. Now this this has been disabled with a prompt to upgrade to "Dropbox Professional". Have certain features been removed from the Dropbox Family plan ? Given that I'm on a "Grandfathered" plan (not sure that's the right word), I have not been notified that any features had been removed. I paid annually and assumed features would remain the same. Dropbox doesn't publicly list the Dropbox Family plan anymore, even though it's listed publicly. Thanks in advance.
External users cannot upload to a shared folder they have edit access to
Been trying to get this to work for many years but always give up and use a different service. On my company’s team dropbox I want to create a folder with the purpose of collaborating with outside vendors. I can create invites, confirm access with edit permissions for the outside person, and they can join no problem, but they only ever have download permissions and can’t upload anything to our folder. Am I missing some permission setting? The other method of using a File Request for them to upload something does work but isn’t ideal. These are the settings used for the most recent attempt:
